Welcome to Talking Balls PlayStation Snooker 19. We have a growing community of friendly players across the three choices of competition at Pro+ and Master+ levels (no aim for the really brave!). You can play in the Snooker League, Snooker Ladder and the Snooker Tournaments. If you’d like to join go to the foot of the page and fill in the form and read the guidelines below…Good luck!
Tournaments
There are knockout tournaments for all players to enter if they wish to. The Autumn Cup (October), Winter Cup (January), Spring Shoot Out (April). In June we have the World Championships and then it’s the end of season Summer Cup (July).
You must let us know that you wish to enter a tournament, you will be asked if already an active player in the Ladders, Tournaments or League! If you win your game please use the button at the top of the Tournaments page to let us know your result.
Feel free to add comments about the match to help us when we publish your result on our Facebook page, WhatsApp and PS Messenger groups.
Ladders
The season runs from September to July (August off for a breather!) each year and sees players challenge others (using the button at the top of the Ladders page) higher than them in the ladder and leapfrogging above them if they win matches on a best of 5 basis. You can challenge players up to 4 places above you and only have one match arranged at a time. Players have a week to play their game once challenged. If you win, you cannot be challenged the next day, if you lose you cannot make a challenge the next day – hunt or be hunted!
Some people want to play more than others, some just want the occasional game. We now have a Ladder for friendly matches. There are no rules as to how many places higher you can challenge whatsoever, you just contact another player directly to arrange a match and then send your result. Positions are determined by your win percentage followed by frame difference (frames won minus frames lost). Play over however many frames you like!
If you win your game please use the button at the top of the Ladders page to let us know your result. Feel free to add comments about the match to help us when we publish your result on our Facebook page, WhatsApp and PS Messenger groups.
Premier League
In Premier League snooker you play each season over 6 weeks, best of 5 frames with a catchup week at the end. Each division is made up of 6 players and you play eachother once. Both players win 2 points for each frame that they win to reward close matches but still give you something to aim at when 2-0 down. At the end of the season, if there is a tie it will come down to the frame difference (frames won minus frames lost) and if the records are the same it will come down to the score between the players in the head-to-head and finally to who has the most centuries and then the most match wins. So every frame could be vital. The No Aim League is best of 1 frame as the games take so much longer to play.
If you win your game please use the button at the top of the League page to let us know your result. Feel free to add comments about the match to help us when we publish your result on our Facebook page, WhatsApp and PS Messenger groups.
The winner of the group wins the division and gains promotion along with the runner up if not already in the Premier League, 5th and 6th place are relegated then after a break of one week, we go again with a new season.

If you’d like to join just complete the registration form below (remember that any contact info you give us is treated as you consenting for us to share it with fellow players to arrange matches etc. Personal data is not for wider use outside of the game):
